When the nursing and midwifery family is going through tough times, Cavell Nurses’ Trust gives help.
Cavell is the charity supporting UK nurses, midwives and healthcare support workers when they’re suffering hardship often due to illness, disability, domestic abuse and the ongoing cost of living crisis.
The team has seen a 200% rise in those seeking help in the first 8 months of 2022, compared to 2021.
The Cavell team gives emotional support and advice, one-off grants and rapid emergency funding for those at great risk.
Of the people helped, 96% say that the support received has positively affected their mental health.
