Job overview An exciting opportunity has opened up on the escalation wards at both Maidstone Hospital. If you are keen to see a variety of specialties then working on the escalation wards is not only the best place to gain this experience but will also provide you with the foundations to further enrich your professional development. Should the wards close staff will be redeployed into vacancies across the division and potentially be recalled if required. There will be regular discussions with the professional management teams to ensure that staff are redeployed into suitable vacancies. We are looking for those who are not only dedicated to and passionate about delivering the high-quality patient care but are also adaptable and flexible to a fast-paced, dynamic and evolving environment. If you are looking for this challenge where no two days are the same then working on the escalation wards is the place for you. Main duties of the job The successful candidate must work well in a team and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, patients and relatives/carers. You will be required to be receptive to change, dynamic and demonstrate active assistance and support to your more senior colleagues in the on-going development of the department. You will be supported by your Clinical Matron and Ward Sister in your continued personal development with training opportunities. We are also seeking individuals who can demonstrate our Trust Values- Patient First, Respect, Innovation, Delivery, Excellence. If you are a registered nurse who is compassionate and are ready for a new and exciting challenge this could be the ideal post for you. Please note applicants are required to have 6 months experience in the UK as a nurse or equivalent.
Salary
£25,655 - £31,534 per annum
