Staff Nurse (Intensive Care Unit) - Band 5

As an ICU Staff Nurse, you will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care, ensuring the highest level of customer service is delivered to our patients. • Job Location: This role is located at The London Clinic’s main hospital in London, W1G 6BW (Close to Regents Park & Baker Street tube stations). • Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Sunday. Duties & Responsibilities • Lead on the delivery of individualised patient care acting as the named nurse, ensuring the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation is in line with evidence base practices. • Communicate effectively with dignity and respect to patients, relatives, staff and others considering potential barriers to understanding. • Ensure accurate and comprehensive nursing records are maintained using appropriate IT Healthcare systems available. • Act as a role model to all staff, and providing clinical support to bedside nurses, ensuring high standards of care are delivered. • Correctly use the equipment available in the clinical settings in accordance with the instructions, training received and departmental procedures, reporting any faults as necessary
