As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of patient centred care, including the appropriate assessment and evaluation of nursing interventions and ongoing care planning, quality improvement and service delivery alongside the multidisciplinary team. • Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Sunday. Duties & Responsibilities • Delivery of individualised patient care of the highest standard, acting as the named nurse, ensuring the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation is in line with evidence base practices. • Carry out safe admission, discharge, diagnostic and interventional procedures in liaison with the Nurse in Charge and Ward Coordinator. • Promote a patient focused approach to care as well as safe practice and professional conduct. • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and pharmacists) to ensure the effective care and treatment of patients. • Contribute to research and development programmes as well as uphold quality initiatives that improve ‘customer care’ and participate in the audit process.
