HCA Healthcare has been providing healthcare for more than 50 years. We began with a small hospital, in Nashville, U.S. In 1995 we entered the UK healthcare market and have since built a world-class network of over 30 facilities in London and Manchester, with our latest venture opening in Birmingham in 2023.

We’re the leading independent healthcare provider in CQC ratings, with 90% of our hospitals having been rated as ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Good’ by the CQC and reinvest 85% of our profits back into our business, giving our colleagues all the time, training and tools, they need to help us build a healthier tomorrow.

Opening in Birmingham in 2023 the Harborne Hospital is a state-of-the-art £100 million hospital. It’s the result of a partnership between University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and HCA Healthcare UK. When it opens, the hospital will provide a comprehensive range of services including complex care.
