Band 5 Staff Nurse PICU

An exciting opportunity has opened for the post of Staff Nurse on MacArthur PICU (Psychiatric ICU). As the only NHS PICU serving the Black Country, MacArthur is a key service within BCHFT. A friendly and well integrated multi-disciplinary team, we support people presenting with challenging behaviours through periods of acute illness, focusing on collaborative working and recovery. This is an excellent time to join us, with significant resources being invested in service improvement over the next 12-24 months. The quality of the MacArthur team was recently recognized by the CQC, which rated the Trust as 'Good' for the second consecutive inspection - we're now aiming for excellent! Applications are encouraged both from newly qualified and experienced RMNs, and from final year nursing students. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive support through management and clinical supervision, regular access to Reflective Practice Groups, and outstanding opportunities for further study and training.
