Do you have a passion for Sexual Health and Health Promotion? We have a new full-time permanent position within our Health Advising Team where the post holder will support the delivery of core services in our clinics. The post holder will assess, plan and deliver key aspects of sexual health care including sexual health promotion and risk assessment, promotion/issue of contraception, screening for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), perform diagnostic procedures and provide treatment and management of STIs in line with national guidance. Leicester Sexual Health Service is a busy clinic open 6 days per week with our hub clinics in Leicester city centre and Loughborough, in addition we have several spoke clinics in Leicestershire and Rutland. The service also operates specialist clinics for vulnerable groups including young people. This role will appeal to nurses who have an interest in a future in the speciality of sexual health are welcome to apply. A background in gynaecology would be advantageous but is not essential.
