Family and Systemic Psychotherapist / Systemic Psychotherapist

RESPONSIBLE FOR: • Providing specialist systemic assessments and delivering systemic psychotherapy interventions with families, couples and individuals within the Eating Disorders service • Initiating and leading the development of systemic family therapy within the service • The assessment of need and delivery of safe and effective interventions for adults and families in their communities and in places of safety, working to avoid hospital admission and manage complex risks, in accordance with recognised clinical guidance • Supporting and providing clinical leadership on the development of the systemic family therapy within the team • Working as part of the MDT and in an integrated way with wider teams and services to meet the needs of service users and their families and carers Offering advice, support and supervision to other healthcare professionals both internal and external to the team
