At Buckinghamshire New University, the student experience is at the heart of everything we do. We are delighted the latest results in the National Student Survey show that our students recognise BNU’s commitment to always do our best for them. We are ranked 5th for overall student satisfaction and 2nd for our learning community (NSS 2022). We are also enormously proud to rank in the top 10 of all UK universities for student support in the Whatuni Student Choice Awards 2022.

Buckinghamshire New University has a long history of training people in the healthcare sector and giving them the skills and practice-based experience they need to provide excellent patient care. We have state-of-the-art simulation facilities for our nursing and midwifery students, and when it comes to clinical placements, we work with various NHS Trusts, as well as private and independent businesses, to give our students real world experience as part of their course.

95% of our students are in work or further study within 18 months of finishing their course, and many of our nursing and midwifery students go on to employment with the Trust that they worked with during their time at university.
