We have an exciting opportunity for a credible, passionate and capable senior nurse to work with the Director & Deputy Director of Nursing & Quality to lead the education, development and planning of the nursing, midwifery and allied health professional workforce at North Bristol NHS Trust. You will be part of the senior nursing team where there is strong nursing, midwifery and AHP leadership in place to support and work collaboratively with you. The Workforce & Clinical Education Lead will take the lead role for the development and implementation of a comprehensive Nursing, Midwifery & AHP Clinical Education and Workforce Strategy that outlines and supports the Trusts strategic intent to clinical professional and career development. The Workforce & Education Lead will work closely with Divisional Directors of Nursing/Midwifery and other professional leads to ensure that the clinical education and workforce strategy is influenced by clinical priorities and delivery is led and supported within the divisions. They will lead, develop and support implementation, monitoring and evaluation of new roles, new ways of working and skill mix changes to secure sustainable service delivery at a time of service re-design. This post offers a significant opportunity to a senior nurse who has vision and drive to lead and inspire the clinical workforce through transformational change, ensuring it is fit for the future. As a senior corporate nurse, you will be working with the Director of Nursing and Quality leading and supporting on themes within our Nursing, Midwifery & Allied Health Professional Commitment to Care & Quality Strategy as well as other defined corporate initiatives and projects. You will be expected to have significant NHS experience and a passion for ensuring high quality care is delivered by highly skilled and trained workforce.
