Are you passionate about making a difference to children, young people and families in Wolverhampton? Are you ready for an exciting development opportunity in the field of Public Health Nursing? Then a career in Health Visiting may be for you. Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is currently looking to recruit motivated, positive and enthusiastic Registered Nurses or Midwives who have a passion for working with Children and Families and the Public Health Agenda. You will be given the opportunity to have full funding to study for the BSc Hons/Post Graduate Diploma in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) (Health Visitor) in conjunction with the University of Wolverhampton. You will develop your skills, knowledge and understanding of the public health approach to reducing health inequalities. You will be able to work alongside experienced Health Visitors in partnership with Strengthening Families Hub’s, communities and primary care to deliver a first class universal service to all families and a targeted approach to those with greatest need. Applications for sponsorship are invited from nurses on parts 1 or 2 of the NMC register, ideally with a degree (BSc) or be able to demonstrate successful recent study at degree level (at least 120 credits at level 3), for entry to Health Visiting Specialist Practice registration.
