Helping you bridge the nursing clinical skills gap
Nursing Times Clinical Skills Forum will be an educational event taking place online the mornings of Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 June 2022.
With the Covid-19 pandemic hopefully slowing down, it is time to analyse the current clinical skills gap within the nursing profession. The event will explore how to ensure all general nurses have the sufficient standards of proficiency to operate confidently, efficiently and safely.
This nurse-led, virtual event will attract delegates from across NHS, acute, community and independent healthcare providers. Through a range of expert keynotes talks and interactive discussion sessions, the NT Clinical Skills Forum will support your organisation in taking forward strategies to keep nurses learning all core skills. As well as ensuring nurses’ continuous clinical skills development in practice.
As collaboration between general nurses, specialist nurses and educators will be key to bridging clinical skills gaps, we encourage everyone to participate and be part of the discussion and solution.
A variety of sessions and working groups will tackle gaps in clinical areas such as intravenous therapy, chronic wound care, respiratory, urinary catheterisation and infection prevention and control. Join us at the event to take the opportunity to collaborate with both public and private providers, address common challenges, share solutions and formulate action plans.
You will be able to watch this content live to engage with speakers or catch up on-demand.
